1. Does the Corro-Protec anode work on all types of water tanks?

Yes. The Corro-Protec anode is a universal system which replaces the magnesium anode that is originally installed in the hot water tanks.

3. Can I install the Corro-Protec anode myself?

Yes. You can install the anode yourself. Just download our easy step by step Installation Guide(in PDF format). You may also have it replaced by a qualified fitter in your area. See our List of Certified Fitters.

4. If my water tank is aged 3 to 5 years, is it still possible to install the Corro-Protec anode?

Yes. The titanium anode may be installed on used water tanks. If no leaks were detected in the first 12 months of installation, your tank will remain water tight as long as the current rectifier remains connected.

5. How can I be sure that my water tank is fully protected by the anode?

You will se an indicator light on the current rectifier which indicates that the system is working.

6. Does this product come with a manufacturer’s warranty?
