Corro-Protec’s Limited Warranty
Effective Date: June 1st, 2026
Corro-Protec (“Company”) warrants to the original purchaser (“Customer”) that the Corro-Protec Powered Anode system (“Product”) is free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use, proper installation, and proper operating conditions for the duration of the applicable Warranty Period, subject to the terms, conditions, exclusions, and limitations set forth in this Limited Warranty.
This Limited Warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable.
1. Warranty Period
Base Warranty
The Corro-Protec Powered Anode system, including the anode rod and power supply, carries a five (5) year Limited Warranty from the date of original purchase (“Base Warranty Period”).
Extended Warranty on the Anode Rod Only
The Customer may extend the warranty coverage on the anode rod only to twenty (20) years (“Extended Warranty Period”) at no additional cost for eligible Products installed in single-family residences, provided that the Product is registered on the Company’s website at corroprotec.com/warranty within ninety (90) days of purchase.
The Extended Warranty applies only to the anode rod. It does not apply to the power supply, electronic components, wiring, connectors, water heater, water heater tank, plumbing, fittings, or any other component not expressly covered by this Limited Warranty.
If the Product is not registered within this period, the Base Warranty Period remains in effect. Failure to register the Product does not affect the Customer’s rights under the Base Warranty Period.
The Extended Warranty is complimentary and helps the Company validate warranty claims long into the future, even if the original purchase documentation is lost.
2. Warranty Coverage
This Limited Warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship in the Corro-Protec Powered Anode system when the Product is properly installed, continuously powered, properly grounded, and used in accordance with the Company’s installation guide and specifications.

4. Prorated Extended Warranty Coverage on the Anode Rod Only
Starting in year six (6), for eligible registered Products only, coverage is limited to a prorated credit applicable toward the repair or replacement of the anode rod only.

The Product is designed to help protect the inside of the water heater tank when properly installed, continuously powered, properly grounded, and used in compatible water heaters. Protection is limited to the water heater tank and does not extend to plumbing lines, fixtures, appliances, or other components outside the tank.
