What is the annual power consumption of a Corro-Protec Powered Anode Rod?

Updated

Our response

Our powered anode uses very little electricity. Internal testing confirms that the operating cost remains extremely low throughout the year. Since the amount of current used can vary slightly depending on the water quality in your region, the exact consumption may differ from one household to another.

Average yearly cost:

  • Canada: about $2 CAD per year
  • United States: about $3 USD per year

This is for 24/7 operation, all year round = less than the cost of running a small lightbulb.
